birthday crafties.

On the morning of a birthday party for Autumn's friend, my thought process went a little like this: I can spend an hour getting a present for the party or an hour making a present. One would be junkier and cost me a good $15-$20. The other would be free (or at least using supplies I already have bought) and would be 10 times cooler. So we crafted away and didn't have to get out of our jammies.

The result: An apron with a matching journal.

That is extremely, extremely cute! What I'm sewing right now isn't. It's purple. It's polyester. It's ugly. It's nearly complete.

...and I thought you were showing crafts for parties you were THROWING not attending!

Very cute! I love the fabric. Do you remember where you got it/who made it?

Lia: Sorry to disappoint. Crafts for parties being thrown are very behind and not much for showing.

Jeszie: I believe it was clothworks or marcus brothers, but I can't find it anymore on Fabricdepot. (It was also available in orange and brown) Do check out the happy campers from moda, though.
